Protesters invade California Pacific Medical Center's Cathedral Hill site
Occupy Wall Street protesters entered the former Cathedral Hill hotel in San Francisco Friday evening. The hotel, which is no longer operating, is slated to torn down to make way for a new California Pacific Medical Center hospital campus. Doctors Medical Center gets $8M line of credit
Doctors Medical Center, the perpetually cash strapped safety net hospital in San Pablo, has garnered an $8 million revolving line of credit from Gemino Healthcare Finance, the finance company said. Gemino, in a Jan. 19 press release, said the hospital will use the funds for "working capital purposes." McCarthy Cook has new financial partner at hot China Basin
Longtime China Basin owner/operator McCarthy Cook and new financial partner JP Morgan have purchased China Basin for about $390 million, a recapitalization that doesn't change the management or operation of the property. The purchase price valued the 930,000 square-foot, two-building property at $420 a square foot, according to brokerage sources.
