2 swimmers missing off OC beach presumed drowned

Authorities say two young men who disappeared Saturday while swimming in Orange County are presumed drowned after a search was called off at sundown. Efforts resumed Sunday to recover the bodies of 24-year-old John Shua Lee and 20-year-old Shao Moua, both of Banning.

4.1 magnitude quake rattles eastern SD County

A moderate earthquake has rattled eastern San Diego County but there have been no reports of damage or injuries. The U.S. Geological Survey says the magnitude 4.1 quake struck at 8:53 a.m. in a rural area about 130 miles east of downtown San Diego.

'Exorcism' has slim box-office lead over 'Takers'

The fright flick "The Last Exorcism" and the heist thriller "Takers" were in a photo finish for the top spot at the weekend box office, according to studio estimates Sunday. Lionsgate's "The Last Exorcism" had a thin lead with a $21.3 million debut, closely followed by Sony's "Takers" with a $21 million opening. They were close enough that rankings could change after final numbers are released Monday.

Suspect In Oak. Police Shooting Caught At Border
