Tubbs fire devastates Santa Rosa

The Tubbs fire that started in Calistoga on Sunday night forced residents in Santa Rosa to evacuate their homes with little time to get to safety. Bella Vista Way, Palisades Way and Sonterra Court suffered home damage from the fire. Another place hit hard by the fire was Fountaingrove Village. According to fire.ca.gov, the fire has burned 27,363 acres and is 10 percent contained as of Wednesday. The Sonoma County Coroner’s Office reported the Tubbs fire has caused 13 deaths, according to Nixle.com.
